Florida State coach Mike Norvell said he spoke with disgruntled receiver Warren Thompson during the weekend and they had “good conversation” about Thompson’s tweet stating he felt “lied to” by the school about coronavirus safety protocol.
“We’re moving forward together,” Norvell said of the talk. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to help him grow and develop to be able to continue to develop that relationship.”
Norvell’s comments come one day after Thompson posted a statement on Twitter apologizing for his accusations about the program.
“With all the fear in the world, the confusion and concerns regarding this matter may cloud judgment on this arising problem in this country,” Thompson wrote in a post published Sunday night.
