CINCINNATI — With FC Cincinnati currently embroiled in chaos following accusations of racial slurs from and the resignation of former head coach Ron Jans, the second-year MLS club could use some positive news.
They got some on Thursday.
After a failed, multi-year search to fill the attacking midfield role with an impact player, Cincinnati has finally landed one with the arrival of midfielder Siem de Jong. De Jong, 31, arrives on a free transfer from Dutch power Ajax and will occupy an international roster spot. He will be added to the club roster upon the receipt of his International Transfer Certificate and P1 Visa.
