Veteran MLS midfielder Harry Shipp is staying with Seattle Sounders FC in 2020.
Shipp, who was out of contract after the 2019 season, re-signed with the club Wednesday and will play his fourth consecutive year in Seattle during the upcoming campaign.
Seattle originally traded the Montreal Impact for Shipp, now 28, in 2016. He has 62 regular season appearances, including 41 starts, in the last three seasons and has also recorded 10 goals and seven assists.
He was particularly useful last season, making 25 regular season appearances en route to helping the Sounders capture the 2019 MLS Cup title.
