The preseason honors continued to roll in for D’Eriq King and the Miami Hurricanes on Friday, with the UM quarterback named to watch list for the Walter Camp Award, which annually recognizes college football’s player of the year as decided by the 130 NCAA FBS coaches and sports information directors.
The recognition is the third watch list King has been selected for this preseason, with the 23-year-old signal caller previously being named to the watch list for the John Maxwell Award and Davey O’Brien Award, which recognizes college football’s most outstanding player and most outstanding quarterback, respectively.
