MIAMI GARDENS — As expected, the Miami Hurricanes fell out of the AP Top 25 Poll that was released Sunday afternoon after Saturday’s 38-17 loss to Michigan State.
Their drop from the AP Poll marked the first time since the 2020 preseason that the Hurricanes weren’t ranked in the top 25.
UM, which was ranked at No. 24 heading into Saturday, had fallen down the AP Poll every week it’s been updated since the beginning of the season.
Miami (1-2) were ranked No. 14 in the AP Top 25 preseason poll before falling to top-ranked Alabama, 44-13, in the season opener to drop to No.
