After having a truncated 2020 football season due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Miami Hurricanes will return to their traditional schedule format for 2021: four non-conference matchups and eight Atlantic Coast Conference games.
The ACC has been split back into two divisions, Coastal and Atlantic, with Miami set to play the other six Coastal foes and two Atlantic teams this season.
Sept. 4, vs. Alabama (in Atlanta), 3:30 p.m., TV: ABC, The Buzz: The Hurricanes open the season with their toughest opponent. While Alabama lost significant contributors from last year’s team, the Crimson Tide are still the defending national champions and figure to once again be one of the nation’s best teams.
