Miami Hurricanes senior guard Chris Lykes is planning to go pro, coach Jim Larrañaga told reporters in a Thursday morning web conference.
“Chris Lykes is turning pro,” Larrañaga said. “Does that mean he’s going to be in the NBA or Europe next year? I don’t think he knows yet. He’s going to visit with some agents, and then, probably in a few weeks, he’ll make some decision about his future.”
Although Lykes was a senior, the 2020-21 season is not being counted against player eligibility because it was played amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Lykes injured his ankle in the second game of the season on Dec.
