The Miami Dolphins needed another offensive lineman to throw into preseason competition and found one in a trade with the Carolina Panthers.
The Dolphins made a move for 2019 second-round pick Greg Little on Tuesday afternoon, according to NFL Network. Miami is sending Carolina a 2022 seventh-round pick.
Little, a 6-foot-5, 310-pound offensive tackle, has had an underwhelming first two NFL seasons after being the No. 37 pick in the 2019 draft. He started three games at left tackle each of the past two seasons, with both ending with him placed on injured reserve by December.
Little gets a fresh start in Miami while the Dolphins get a new body for depth at a position where they need help.
