The Miami Dolphins locked in their early-second-round draft pick on Friday, four days before players report for training camp.

The Dolphins agreed to terms with rookie safety Jevon Holland, the team announced. The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but as the No. 36 pick, the Oregon product was expected to sign a four-year deal worth $8,716,409, which includes a $3,699,207 signing bonus at his draft position.

Holland, the first safety selected in the draft, can now join the Dolphins for training camp, which will have players report on Tuesday for their first practice on Wednesday.
