As the pocket collapsed for Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Baker was blitzing past the left tackle and saw Mahomes drifting further and further into the backfield.
Baker, one of the fastest linebackers in the NFL, ended his pursuit of Mahomes with a 30-yard sack that saw him down at the 3-yard line and got the Dolphins defense off the field on fourth down.
As the Dolphins hopes to regain their position as one of the top defenses in the NFL in 2021, addressing the linebacker position could be a finishing touch needed on coach Brian Flores’ defense.
