The Miami Dolphins, often praised for hiring diverse candidates to significant positions, have hired two women to join their scouting department.
The Dolphins hired Olivia Passy and Joyce Harrell to join the team as personnel scouts, the team confirmed on Tuesday. Both hires were first reported by The Athletic.
Passy joins the Dolphins after working as the director of football operations at Bowling Green last year. She was the second women in the Mid-American Conference to hold the title.
Passy graduated from Boston College in 2018, where shortly after she became a football operations assistant and assistant to the football coach.
