When Michael Pinckney went down in that one, UM coaches turned to Ryan Ragone, who wasn’t on scholarship at the time. Bradley Jennings Jr., Waynmon Steed and Patrick Joyner were all injured, Zach McCloud was redshirting to preserve a senior season of eligibility and Avery Huff was taking an academic redshirt.
“There’s going to have to be a rotation in there,” Miami defensive coordinator Blake Baker told 560-AM on Monday morning.
