Boone High School’s senior class has embraced the high expectations put upon it since the day players such as wide receiver Parker St. John and defensive lineman Shambre Jackson first stepped on campus.
“All the coaches and players have known since we got here that everything was building up to this year with this senior class,” said St. John. “It’s really important for us to get out there on the field and play.”
Jackson enters the fall as one of the top-ranked players in the area. He made 49 stops behind the line of scrimmage and earned a spot on the Orlando Sentinel all-area team.
