It has been about three weeks since Orlando City traded for attacking midfielder Matías Pérez García. In that time, García has played 126 minutes for the club over the course of three games. This past weekend against Colorado, Garcia came on as a sub for Julio Baptista in the 63rd minute and created offensive chances, connecting with Cyle Larin in the 78th minute for a shot that went just over the bar.
Head Coach Jason Kreis is very pleased with Garcia’s performances with the club and his connection with the rest of the offense. “We traded for a very good player in Matías Pérez García,” Kreis said after training on Monday.
