The Orlando Magic have signed free-agent forward Robert Franks to a 10-day contract, the team announced Monday.
Franks, who most recently played for Orlando’s NBA G League affiliate in Lakeland, will be available for tonight’s game against San Antonio at Amway Center, according to a team official. It’s unlikely Franks would play significant minutes, considering his lack of practice time with the team, but having played in Lakeland should help him acclimate more quickly to what the Magic do.
The Magic are now at their 15-player roster maximum, but the team also is planning to sign forward/center Donta Hall to a 10-day contract.
