It’s looking like the Orlando Magic won’t get injured rookie point guard Cole Anthony back in their lineup until April at the earliest.
Magic coach Steve Clifford on Wednesday described Anthony’s return as being closer to weeks than days, although Clifford clarified that he’s being told by training and performance staff that Anthony is “not that close.”
“He was on the court yesterday for the first time just doing some light shooting,” Clifford said after Wednesday’s practice. “Let’s put it this way. It’s more than days it’s weeks before, and I shouldn’t even say...I don’t know exactly but it’s not that close is the feedback.
