After an unexpected – but most certainly welcomed – day off, the Orlando Magic headed to Boston on Thursday afternoon for what they hope is a return to their playing schedule.
Wednesday’s game between Orlando and Boston was postponed because the Celtics did not have the required eight available players, mostly due to COVID-related issues.
“I think we’re very confident it’ll be played,” Clifford said during his post-practice media session Thursday. “I think the communication between the teams in the league is every day. And so our plan is that that will that will be playing.”
The postponement of Wednesday’s game came just before the Magic were set to leave Orlando on Tuesday.
