Dwayne Bacon has always been a get-to-the-basket player, but lately he’s added more of a perimeter touch to his game.
The Orlando Magic signed the guard in the offseason in part for his versatility and he’s already shown he can contribute as a starter or with the second unit. Bacon also has shown his positional adaptability, having started at shooting guard and small forward.
Magic coach Steve Clifford, who coached Bacon during his rookie season in Charlotte, said the 25-year-old is just scratching the surface of his game.
“I think he’s just starting to really evolve into the player that I think he can be,” Clifford said.
