Magic forward Aaron Gordon out indefinitely with ankle injury

The Orlando Magic have 15 games to change their trajectory before the first half of the NBA season ends but they may not have Aaron Gordon to help them.

Gordon is out indefinitely, the team said, because of a high grade ankle sprain he sustained during Sunday’s 115-102 loss to the Toronto Raptors. His return will depend on how he responds to rehabilitation and treatment, according to the Magic.

While the team did not put a specific timeline on Gordon’s return, Shams Charania of Stadium and The Athletic reported Monday that Gordon is expected to miss four to six weeks.
