While the Orlando Magic wound up getting swept 3-0 in their season series with Milwaukee, Tuesday’s 114-102 loss was a contrast to the previous two meetings when the Bucks won by an average of 29.5 points. Milwaukee’s last victory — a 124-87 triumph on April 11 — serves as Orlando’s worst loss of the season.
Tuesday also led to, arguably, the perfect outcome for Magic fans, who want their team to be competitive in a loss so it can maximize the chances for a high draft pick.
The loss, accompanied by Minnesota’s 119-100 win in Detroit earlier Tuesday night, moved the Magic into a fourth-place tie with the Cavaliers in the NBA’s reverse standings.
