Magic believe their chemistry, unity can spark success

The front office sees value in chemistry and continuity, and to a large degree it would seem like a valid approach under the circumstances. The coronavirus pandemic already has shortened the NBA regular season from 82 games to 72, limited the offseason work of players and kept fans away from arenas.

The 2020-21 campaign will present unique challenges for every NBA team, so chemistry and continuity could mean more than they have in a long time. The Magic certainly are counting on that.

“We have a core of guys back that are comfortable with the way we do things,” Magic coach Steve Clifford said.
