The Orlando Magic are planning to allow up to 4,000 fans at regular-season games, but reaching that number will be a process that involves social-distancing measures and other safeguards put in place amid the coronavirus pandemic, the team announced Monday.
The Magic expect a lower capacity for the first five regular-season games to allow fans to adjust to the new health and safety protocols. The team also likely will use those games to monitor the re-introduction of fans to Amway amid the coronavirus pandemic. The arena’s seating capacity is 18,846 for NBA games, according to statistics from the league.
