The Orlando Magic have agreed to sign guard Frank Mason to a two-way contract, according to league sources.
The Magic would have to waive either Karim Mané or Jordan Bone to open a two-way spot for Mason, who was the NBA G League MVP last season.
Bone played 17 minutes in Tuesday’s 123-108 loss to the Toronto Raptors, while Mané is with the Lakeland Magic preparing for the upcoming G League season in the Disney bubble.
League sources indicate Bone will be waived once Mason is signed. Mason has been in Orlando with the 76ers’ G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats.
