It’s going to take some stamina to get there. The Greyhounds (5-0) are off and running in what has to be the busiest girls volleyball season ever seen in Central Florida.
In a year where almost all fall sports teams are playing shortened schedules due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Lyman coach Bob Drake went full-speed ahead. His team is scheduled to play 23 regular season matches in a span of 31 days. And that was going to be 25 matches before two opponents dropped off the schedule.
Compare that to reigning Class 4A champ Lake Highland Prep, which shows just nine regular season dates on its schedule before the district tournaments, which are set for the week of Oct.
