GAINESVILLE — Days after a disappointing end to the season, the Florida Gators men’s golf team continued to lay the foundation for the future, earning the commitment of Luke Poulter of the Orlando area.
Poulter, a member of the class of 2022, is the son of PGA Tour stalwart and longtime Lake Nona resident Ian Poulter, who announced the decision on his social media accounts.
Luke Poulter is ranked 133 in the Rolex American Junior Golf Association rankings and has finished in the top-10 of three of his past six starts. He opened with a 4-under par 68 to lead the Westrock Coffee Junior Championship in Hot Springs, Ark.
