Orlando City interim coach Bobby Murphy was again forced to be creative with his lineup with many players missing the Lions' game at Vancouver Saturday.
The Lions and Whitecaps are tied 0-0 early in the first half.
Murphy went with a 4-2-3-1 formation featuring goalkeeper Joe Bendik behind defenders Luke Boden, David Mateos, Sen Hines and Kevin Alston. Defensive midfielder Servando Carrasco and Darwin Cerén lined up behind a new attacking midfield that included Kevin Molino on the left wing, Hadji Barry on the right and Julio Baptista at center. Canadian forward Cyle Larin led the charge alone up top.
