PHILADELPHIA -- Orlando City midfielder Christian Higuita suffered a minor groin injury just before leaving for Philadelphia and will not play when the Lions face the Union at 7 p.m.
Higuita's absence leaves the Lions without four starters. The others are defenders Tommy Redding (concussion) and Brek Shea (red-card suspension) and forward Cyle Larin (hamstring). Servando Carrasco and Antonio Nocerino will join Darwin Cerén in the midfield.
Orlando City coach Adrian Heath opted to go with a 4-3-3 formation with Kaká playing more forward through the middle since Larin is out.
