Utah Royals FC head coach Laura Harvey is reportedly leaving the club after two seasons for a job with U.S. Soccer, leaving the National Women’s Soccer League side without a coach less than two weeks before the College Draft.
The news was first reported by The Equalizer‘s Dan Lauletta on Friday.
U.S. Soccer has coaching vacancies across both its men’s and women’s youth national teams and Harvey is expected to fill the role of the under-20 women’s national team head coach.
It would not be her first time working with U.S. Soccer.
