A Lake Nona-based soccer club will join USL League Two, a competitive nationwide amateur league, for the 2022 season.
NONA FC will compete in the Southeast Division of the league, which provides pre-professional players training and competition while maintaining their collegiate eligibility. USL League Two is the third tier of the USL umbrella, which includes professional leagues USL Championship and USL League One. The former is sanctioned as a second-tier American soccer league, behind Major League Soccer, and the latter is a third-tier league that previously included Orlando City B.
Nearly 90 teams across the United States and Canada compete in USL League Two, broken into four conferences and 12 divisions.
