Lake Nona junior kicker Jack Walker set a school record by making three field goals for the Lions in a 30-13 homefield football win against St. Cloud on Friday night.
“We’ve never kicked three field goals in a game,” Lions coach Anthony Paradiso said. “Jack’s done a great job all year and the whole field goal team did that.”
The game itself wasn’t on the schedule until Monday when the teams agreed to play this week after both lost opponents due to COVID-19 issues.
“Realistically we only had two days of practice this week,” Paradiso said.
