Zane Durant even surprised his family Sunday when he revealed that he was picking to play football at Penn State over Miami.
Durant, a 6-foot-2, 250-pound defensive lineman for Orlando’s Lake Nona High, not only had several family members thinking he was going to choose Miami, but they were also hoping he would be a Hurricane.
“It was really difficult. A lot of people told me Miami. Family members were telling me Miami and stuff like that,” Durant said, “but I just felt like I needed to be at Penn State.”
