Lake Mary High offensive coordinator Adam Donnelly, who has been battling COVID-19 for a little more than a week, was moved from ICU Friday morning.

Donnelly, whose oxygen levels had dropped enough to cause concern among doctors at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs, was moved to a regular COVID-19 patient room and is still under observation for the disease.

“Adam is out of ICU this morning and doing better, they say,” Lake Mary head coch Scott Perry said. “I was worried, we all were worried for Adam. I think the school raised over $3,000 ... got meals taken care of and and some money toward his hospital co-pays.
