The LA Galaxy have made the first MLS acquisition of 2020, reportedly signing veteran defender Emiliano Insúa on a free transfer from German club Stuttgart.
The LA Times reported the signing, indicating allocation money was not used and a formal announcement could be as early as Thursday. On Monday, German outlet Kicker said the deal was done and Insúa, who was entering the final six months of his contract, would arrive on a free transfer.
TyC Sports in Argentina reported it’s a one-year deal with an option for a second season.
