Argentine forward Cristian Pavón will remain in Los Angeles for another year. The LA Galaxy announced Monday they have extended their loan deal with Boca Juniors for Pavón through the end of the 2020 Major League Soccer season.
Pavón will occupy designated player and international slots on the Galaxy’s 2020 roster.
The Galaxy acquired Pavón on loan from Boca Juniors in August, reuniting the player with his former manager Guillermo Barros Schelotto. The 23-year-old contributed three goals and eight assists in 11 regular-season appearances, all starts. Pavón added another goal in two MLS Cup playoff starts for LA.
