DAVIE — One of the Miami Dolphins’ key acquisitions this offseason injured himself during the team’s one-on-one drills and immediate left Monday’s practice, accompanied by a trainer.
Kyle Van Noy, a versatile linebacker the Dolphins signed to a four-year deal worth $51 million, apparently injured an area of his upper torso when he slipped while pass rushing against rookie right tackle Robert Hunt, who pancaked him into the turf.
Van Noy needed help getting off Miami’s practice field and immediate called for the team’s trainers. He walked off the field without any assistance, but seemed to be concerned about one of his shoulders.
