A duo of MLS veterans and Real Salt Lake favorites parted ways with the club this offseason. Yura Movsisyan was waived, while long-term defender Chris Wingert called it quits on his career.
Key Additions
The void left by Movsisyan had to be filled. Real Salt Lake went out and added Spanish forward, Alfredo Ortuño. The other big signing of the offseason followed a trend around MLS. Go out and get a young South American playmaker. Salt Lake found that in Argentine Pablo Ruiz.
Who’s Hot
Midfielder Albert Rusnak is the only player for Real Salt Lake who has more than one goal and one assist.
