By no means am I saying Davis — who is holding down the Dolphins’ starting right tackle spot, where he’s responsible for protecting the blindside of left-handed quarterback Tua Tagovailoa — is perfect.
Nobody is going to mistake him for Richmond Webb, or say the this lineman who turns 30 on Wednesday is as good as Laremy Tunsil, a former teammate whom the Dolphins traded for a king’s ransom of draft picks, then inserted Davis into Tunsil’s former position as his replacement.
