MIAMI GARDENS — The talent disparity between the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs and the Miami Dolphins could have seen by simply looking into Miami’s backfield.
The Chiefs didn’t have much use for DeAndre Washington during his tenure in Kansas City so they traded him to Miami for a swap of 2021 late-round draft picks, and Washington handled 13 carries and was targeted four more times on passes during Sundays’ 33-27 loss to the Chiefs.
While it didn’t help that Myles Gaskin joined Matt Breida on the team’s COVID-19 reserve list on Saturday evening, and Salvon Ahmed was sidelined for the third straight game with a shoulder injury he suffered last month.
