captain Kaká delivered a message Wednesday that he’s given all year when asked about his future beyond this season and if he will sign a new contract with the club:
“Yes, that’s the principle idea,” Kaká, 35, said in Spanish to a hoard of media after the Lions’ training session. “The first idea is to continue here, continue with Orlando, and I will continue thinking this year about what we can do.”
Kaká’s three-year contract is up at the end of the season, and Orlando City will need to decide whether to re-sign the aging Brazilian superstar or move on without him.
