A fourth-quarter rally on the road Friday against the Orlando area’s top-ranked high school football team helped Jones High jump two spots to No. 1 in this week’s Sentinel Super 16 rankings.
The Tigers (3-0) overcame a 12-point deficit in the final six minutes of play at then-No. 1 Apopka (3-1) to score a 22-21 win. Jones recovered a fumble in between touchdown tosses from quarterback Tysan Robbins in the final minutes after trailing 21-9.
