Orlando Magic president of basketball operations Jeff Weltman didn’t confirm recovery timelines for stars Jonathan Isaac and Markelle Fultz, but the team feels confident in the duo’s ability to contribute at full strength this season.
Isaac missed the entire 2020-21 season after tearing his ACL and meniscus last August. Fultz tore his ACL in January 2021 after playing eight games of the season.
Weltman did not specify if either player will feature in the team’s season opener in San Antonio on October 20. He believes the time away from the court sharpened both players for a comeback season.
