Inter Milan withdrew from the Florida Cup on Wednesday citing COVID-19 concerns, becoming the second team to pull out of the Orland-based friendly tournament less than a week before it was set to begin.
Arsenal announced its withdrawal from the tournament — which will be hosted at Camping World Stadium — the previous day after several members of the team’s travel party tested positive for COVID-19. Those positive tests occurred before the team departed England for Florida, preventing the group from safely traveling stateside.
Inter Milan did not report any positive cases in the team’s travel squad.
