After a long, drawn out process it appears Mexican striker Rodolfo Pizarro is finally heading to Inter Miami as the expansion side’s second Designated Player signing.
According to multiple reports, Pizarro and Inter Miami agreed to terms Wednesday, clearing the way for the player to join Major League Soccer from Liga MX’s Monterrey.
Miami is reportedly paying a $12 million transfer fee for the 25-year-old’s services, according to ESPN FC. The Athletic was the first to report the deal being finalized.
Monterrey sporting director Duilio Davino also told reporters Wednesday though Miami hadn’t yet paid a transfer fee, Pizarro was keen to leave.
