Ding-dong the Patriots’ dynasty is dead. The Dolphins dominated the line of scrimmage all game, and Brian Flores outcoached his mentor, which allowed his team to take care of business and remain in the wild-card mix. Watching Miami’s run game thrive behind the running of Salvon Ahmed and Matt Breida was refreshing to see, and should give Dolphins fans hope for the future because Sunday’s game is what this RPO-based offense should look like when the rushing game is working.
The Dolphins yet again beat New England at Hard Rock Stadium, but this time, in a rarity, it was during a playoff push that did not involve Bill Belichick’s squad.
