Josh Wolff was training and competing with 1860 Munich in the Bundesliga when he realized what the next phase of his career would eventually be.
“I think when I went to Germany, the game was presented in a different way,” Wolff told Pro Soccer USA. “One of the first things I think that I felt was like, wow this was something different and something that I enjoyed seeing and hearing.”
It dawned on the former U.S. men’s national team standout that he wanted to manage at the professional level.
Seven months ago, the 43-year old Wolff finally achieved that dream when he was named the first head coach of MLS expansion side Austin FC who will debut in 2021.
