Orlando City midfielder Antonio Nocerino recently had begun endearing himself to fans with solid performances after struggling most of the season when he went down with an injury.
Nocerino left the Lions’ match against the L.A. Galaxy in the 40th minute with what was described at the time as an “upper right leg injury.” Orlando City coach Jason Kreis confirmed Wednesday that Nocerino has a hamstring strain and likely will not be available for the Lions’ home match against the Columbus Crew at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
“He has a very slight hamstring strain,” Kreis said.
