NEW YORK — Following in the footsteps of several of her teammates this off-season, Imani Dorsey has signed a new contract with Sky Blue FC, the club announced Thursday.
It is a one year deal with a one year option.
Dorsey joined Sky Blue in 2018, when she was selected fifth overall in the National Women’s Soccer League College Draft. The forward played 13 matches, scoring four goals and picking up an assist in a season that earned her Rookie of the Year honors.
She played all but one match for Sky Blue in 2019, and also demonstrated her versatility when she began playing as a fullback.
