Well, now it’s official. Deshaun Watson wants out. He wants to be traded. He wants a new team. He reportedly sent his trade request to the Houston Texans weeks ago, and the team’s hiring of former Baltimore assistant David Culley on Thursday changed nothing.
So now Watson made his demand public, via ESPN’s Adam Schefter. And you know what? That changes little beyond the taking temperature in the room up a few degrees. It changes nothing from Houston probably waiting a little longer before trying to talk with him to talk out their differences.
