Miami Hurricanes senior offensive lineman Navaughn Donaldson has 34 career starts to his name, most among UM linemen. He is not, however, assured a starting spot as he waits to make his season debut coming off of knee surgery.
“We’re trying to be as careful as we can with Navaughn,” said Miami offensive line coach Garin Justice on Tuesday as the Hurricanes return to the site where Donaldson first suffered the knee ailment, Duke, on Saturday. “His rehab’s gone well. He just got cleared [ahead of the Nov. 14 Virginia Tech game]. We’re in a good place with him right now.
