After sending their two starting defensive ends to the NFL draft, the Miami Hurricanes will be getting some transfer help on the edge.
Tennessee defensive end/outside linebacker Deandre Johnson, a Miami Southridge grad, announced he will be transferring to Miami on Saturday night.
Johnson led the Volunteers with 4 1/2 sacks in 2020. He was named SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week after his game at South Carolina on Sept. 26 when he had career highs in tackles (six), tackles for loss (2 1/2), and sacks (2 1/2) while also forcing a fumble.
